Join a guided tour of s/s Bore – a steam powered ice breaker from 1894!

During the tour you will get to hear about Bore’s history from when she was built in Kockum’s ship yard in Malmö, her long service as an ice breaker, her downfall and how she was restored into her current beautiful state. You will also get to see the saloons meant for passengers and the crew’s cabins. The tour is in English.

We ask you to arrive at Bore 10 minutes before the tour starts, so that we can start the tour on time.

Pre-booking of tickets closes an hour before the tour starts, and if there are any tickets left you can get the remaining ones at Bore.

Bore lays by Skeppbrokajen in Malmö, close to Skeppsbron 10.

Accessibility:
Bore is not adjusted after modern standards and has difference in levels on board. During the tour we will climb a few steep stairs to reach certain spaces. The stairs are around 2 meters long. You can choose to stay on deck if you can’t or don’t want to climb the stairs. There is a possibility to sit down during parts of the tour, but you have to be prepared to stand up for the most part.
